CJ Garton - CJ Twitty
"CJ Twitty" is an upbeat, good-time country anthem built for hot summer days, cold drinks, and weekends on the water. The title delivers a playful wink and nod to country legend Conway Twitty, with Garton borrowing the iconic last name as his alter ego comes to life somewhere between the boat ramp and the boathouse. With a rowdy singalong hook, playful lyrics, and plenty of backwoods personality, "CJ Twitty" captures the carefree spirit of loading up the boat, meeting friends at the sandbar, and letting the good times roll until the sun goes down.
C.J. Garton grew up on his family's ranch in Oklahoma, where he embraced the values of hard work and self-reliance while being surrounded by the classic sounds of Randy Travis, George Strait, Merle Haggard, Keith Whitley, Waylon Jennings, and Willie Nelson. From an early age, his passion for music was undeniable, and working alongside his dad on the ranch only deepened his commitment to authentic country music. Garton has been writing and singing for as long as he can remember, always staying true to the roots of the genre.
