KC Armstrong

 KC Armstrong!

KC Armstrong Bio 2026

My name is KC Armstrong.
  I'm a singer/songwriter/producer from Brantford, Ontario Canada.
I consider myself an 'Americana/Country' artist. I have played festivals and bars
coast to coast in Canada for many years and have also played bass as a 'Hawk' for
the legendary Ronnie Hawkins.
Other famous 'Hawks' over the years have included: The Band (Robbie Robertson
and Levon Helm), David Clayton Thomas of                    Blood Sweat and Tears,
Beverly D'Angelo of the National Lampoon Movies, Gowan, Burton Cummings, and
David Foster.
I have learned a lot about the business from Ronnie, who once hired my entire
band and myself as members of his back-up band to play at the Downsview SARS
Concert (2002) featuring headliners Rush, ACDC, and the Rolling Stones.
Unfortunately after a month of rehearsals we had to back out due to illness so I
missed the opportunity to play in front of over 400,000 people.
Over the years I have met and played with many top artists including former band-
mate Producer/Musician Greg Wells                               (125 million albums sold),
and Jeff Healy (who sat in for a set one night as a guest guitarist).
The musicians on my albums have worked for many successful recording artists
(Del Shannon, Jim Cuddy Band, Doug and the Slugs, Ronnie Hawkins, George
Canyon and many others) who have between them tallied: 8 Gold and 1 Platinum
record, 7 Junos, 1 Grammy award, and 2 Canadian Walk of Fames.
Two singles from the album 'Finally Crafted' have achieved #9 and #18 on the
Canadian Independent Country Countdown, having aired on national radio multiple
times, with over 100,000 listeners each time they were spun.
The International Singer Songwriter Association has named 'Finally Crafted' as a
finalist for International Male Album of the Year, and the single 'I Don't Care' as
International Male Single of the Year. Awards in these categories will be announced
in August 2025.
Singles from 'Finally Crafted' have achieved #1 status on Sound Machine Country
Radio (South Carolina) and ITISNOW radio (the UK).
My Christmas single 'I Hate That Sweater' won a contest on Cashbox Radio for
most requested song of the season with requests coming from as far away as
Europe.
Cashbox, and Record World International magazines have featured cover-story

articles on both 'Someone Else Tonight' and 'I Don't Care'.
I am a self-taught Producer, Mixing Engineer/Editor, and Video Producer, and am
currently working on a 14th video soon to be available on my YouTube channel which
has over 12,000 views.
The song ‘When You’re Gone' from my upcoming album ‘Late Boomer’ had it's
first Premiere on CBC Radio.
When You're Gone was then entered on the Canadian Independent Country
Countdown and peaked at #8.
It was named by Cashbox Radio as a "Hot Pick" and was their #1 most requested
song for two months straight.
The song received radio play in many Countries including South Africa, Denmark,
Ireland, France, Australia, New Zealand, the Caribbean, the UK, the US, and
Canada.
My latest single to be released is Mountain Man from the Finally Crafted album.
On a whim I sent it to a station in the UK just to get it some airplay. The first week
they played it it entered their charts at #33.
By week two it had climbed to #7, and in the third week it was #1 (there were over
125,000 votes cast that week).
Mountain Man has just entered the Canadian Independent Country Countdown
With such an unexpected results it just had to be released.

My name is KC Armstrong and WATCH OUR SHADOWS PLAY is the final single to be released from my debut album 'Finally Crafted'.
This may well be the best of the 6 singles released - all of them to date receiving International airplay, and chart success with all 6 achieving Top 10 status.
It is a pretty, Country ballad with beautiful production.

So far there have been 4 number one singles in: Canada, the US, and the UK (based on listener voting), and 3 National top tens here in Canada (the latest 3).
I have had cover stories on both Cashbox, and Record World International Magazines (see links below) with favorable reviews for both.
WATCH OUR SHADOWS PLAY enters the National charts this week, and it's video has proven to be popular with many YouTubers
with over 1200 views (even without radio play so far). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wPiveLYrBgw

A COWGIRL'S DREAM

Sadie Wech

Southland-born singer-songwriter Sadie Wech is an emerging New Zealand artist with a heartfelt approach to storytelling and a lifelong connection to music. Raised in a small rural farming community alongside four younger siblings, Sadie grew up surrounded by strong family values and musical influence, including a grandmother classically trained in opera and coached by the same teacher as Dame Kiri Te Kanawa.

Sadie’s debut single, “You and I,” was written after she was asked to sing at a wedding. A self-described hopeless romantic, she wanted to create something personal for the couple, capturing the emotions that are often difficult to say but easily expressed through song. The track went on to earn Sadie the Solo Female Artist Award at the 2024 MLT NZ Gold Guitar Awards.

Now based in Arrowtown, Sadie also runs her own business in massage therapy and biomechanics, reflecting her passion for helping people live without limitation. Her current single, “A Cowgirl’s Dream,” continues her gift for visual storytelling. The song explores the emotional pull of reconnecting with an old flame, the déjà vu of young love, and the lasting charm of a cowboy who never quite lets go.

Richie Mullins

Allow me to introduce you to Richie Mullins!

Richie’s musical journey began at the pivotal age of 14 when he first picked up a guitar, finding a voice in the six-string that would soon define his path. Growing up in the quiet, pastoral landscapes of Plainwell, Michigan, the small-town atmosphere provided the perfect backdrop for a budding songwriter to hone his craft.

By 18, Richie hit a creative milestone with the composition of his first original song, "Follow Your Dreams." The track was more than just a debut; it was a mission statement that compelled him to dive headfirst into the depths of the music industry. That commitment eventually culminated in his first full-length album, *Joan*. A deeply personal project, the record serves as a tribute to his grandmother, Joan, honoring the unwavering support and belief she invested in his talent from the very beginning.
