Aldo (John Altenbernd)
Aldo (John Altenbernd) is most proud of the Upper MidWest Emmy award he won in 2003 for his work on the PBS documentary, Delafield. Other notable projects include the nationally syndicated PBS series Painting with Paulson and the theme to the popular Prairie Public Television kids' series, Kid's Zone. His music has been picked up by national television shows, including the Today Show, As the World Turns, Last Call with Carson Daly, NPR, and the Rosie O'Donnell Show, among others. Additionally, he served as the music director of the Black Swan Dinner Theatre in Fargo, ND for one year before moving to Minneapolis to join a friend's band, Nero's House Band, that played throughout the Twin Cities metro area during the 1990s.
John has released six albums under his nickname, Aldo, which he got tagged with at age 15 (long story). In 2002, he released Expressions, available exclusively through Cardtunes, a locally-owned promotional company. He can also be heard on the award-winning Acoustitherapy series from Colorado Creative Music.

Mojo Watson Unveils New Single “If Only They Could See Me Now”
Denver, CO — September 3, 2025 — Denver-based blues-inspired artist Mojo Watson proudly announces the release of his latest single, “If Only They Could See Me Now.” Written and produced by Watson himself, the song is a heartfelt reflection dedicated to relatives who have passed on, blending soulful storytelling with his signature fusion of Blues, R&B, Jazz, Rock, and Country influences.
The single was recorded at FTM Studios in Denver, CO, with engineering support from Steve Sundberg. The final mastering was completed by acclaimed mastering engineer Bernie Becker of Bernie Becker Mastering in Pasadena, CA—renowned for his work with some of the music industry’s most celebrated artists.

Mojo Watson is an independent recording artist, guitarist, and songwriter whose music lives at the crossroads of blues, soul, rock, and jazz. With a sound that is both timeless and fresh, Mojo carries forward the legacy of the blues while shaping it into his own distinctive voice.
Since releasing his debut album Summer Is Near in 1999, Mojo has built an impressive catalog of nearly 100 published songs, all released through his own label, Watashea Records. Albums such as Inheritance (2002), Black Beauty (2004), 18th & Agnes (2007), and Geechy Woman (2011) showcase his versatility—ranging from raw, emotional blues to groove-driven, soul-infused rock.
